This is as older project that I have been working on for quite some time. Infact, this page has been done in one way or another for a couple months. I have been really trying to make my own "style". I used this Raven project to work on that, in fact, this page had 4 other versions. I just kept tweaking it and tweaking it until you get what you see here. This is a little different than my other "toons". For one the character is "thicker". Both in body and the lines. Also the eyes went through a lot of variations, I found that simpler is better with eyes. The nose is something that I worked very hard on. That may sound weird but the nose can really shape a face and set it apart. Finally the coloring. Here I used hard shadeing with darker contrasts. I think they really let the character pop.
